Dog At Desk

Time for another upload with a picture I did near the close of 2017. After the 'Chamber Cat' piece I wanted to again do an older looking interior. I found one of my photos from a trip to the historical palace of Hampton Court of an empty seat in a corner with a desk, and I was really keen to draw a dog in the chair for whatever reason. As the palace is linked with Henry VIII I decided to make the paintings more Tudor-like. Experimenting with more brushes and textures (like fur!), as well as perspective again, it was a fun, and quicker, piece to do after the other, and is entirely digital.

Meanwhile, I am preparing for the annual art group exhibition. More soon!
