Bit Of Observation

In London, in June, I used up my last bit of time before the train home to do a bit of sketching at the Natural History Museum. Not loads, though, as there was a lot of public about and I'm a touch embarrassed by people looking at my drawings! I got some positive comments from the nosy parkers, at least... (thank you!)... though they have a habit of looking when you're making crappier drawings. Haven't updated here in a little while again so might as well plop some results here.

(That dik-dik or whatever it is has very weird legs here... in my defence, you'll understand them looking that way if you ever see it in the museum!)

The rough people outlines are from my viewing of train stations and such on my journey home. The macaw doodles were reference for myself for another drawing, and the cat... is my very own darling I was inspired to do some super quick sketches of one day.

And I went on holiday and was too busy to draw, but I did a few very quick doodles from my hotel balcony facing on to the pretty garden. Clearly a few elements of this were not observed whatsoever... but what the hey.

Thank you for looking.
